NARS Sheer Matter Foundation in Syracuse- ($42)
Kat Vond D Tattoo concealer in Almond- ($26)
Sephora Anti-Shine Primer- ($18)
MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick- ($14.50)
MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder- ($14.50)
MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating- ($14.50)

I went into Sephora last weekend, not really having anything in mind to buy, but I really wanted to check out the new Urban Decay Naked Palette. I really love all the neutral colors that it comes with and surprisingly they had it in stock, but for some reason after debating about it I decided not to get it (at the moment). Instead I decided to browse a little and decided to get a new foundation. I know I'm kinda obsessed with trying new foundations. Since I had heard great things about the NARS sheer glow foundation I decided to give it a try. Instead of the "sheer glow" I went with the "sheer matte". I really liked the way it felt on my skin. Feels really light. I haven't really had a chance to use it and make a full review on this or any of the products I bought from their, but I just know I'm gonna love this foundation. I also got the Sephora base zero brilliance anti-shine primer. This was recommended to me by the sales representative(of coarse)...Its a water based primer that "guarantees" a perfectly matte skin for 8 hours. So will just have to see about that. Last, I picked up the Kat Von D concealer. I know its very thick and can even conceal tattoos, so only a tiny dab on a blemish or under the eyes is needed. I cant wait to try that. I also went into the MAC counter because I needed to pick up two Eye Kohl eyeliners in smolder and fascinating. When I was about to pay I saw the  Viva Glam Gaga lipstick. I know its been out forever, I just never got it until now. Its such a pretty pink shade that really just compliments all skin tones. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this post and I cannot wait to review the stuff from Sephora. Byeee

Favorite Foundations at the Moment

I first would like to say that in order to keep your foundation looking flawless for a longer period of time, it is best to use a Primer. This will also help fill in large pores (or any small craters if you had acne) it will give you a more smooth look. I will do a review on the Primers that I use on another post.
So I have many different foundations that I like to use. Right now I have 3 favorite that I use depending on what I feel like that day and how much coverage I want. I recommend any of these 3 foundations if you have oily to combination skin and if you would like medium to full coverage. The first being the Revlon ColorStay for combination to oily skin. This foundation has been compared a lot to the MAC Studio Fix, and I would like to say that they really are the same in my opinion. Only difference is one is $29 and the other about $12! They are both medium to full coverage. The only thing about this foundation is it drys pretty quickly so you must work in small sections in order to make it blend and not look "cakey". (I like to apply my foundation with my fingers, or a brush that has synthetic bristles) This foundation also does not come with a pump which sucks because you do waste a lot of product; but I heard their coming out with one that does have one so I'm sure I'll be purchasing that! The color I use is 330 natural tan which is the equivalent if your and NC40 in the MAC Studio fix.
The next foundation is also a drugstore foundation and I like to use this one when I only want light to medium coverage, such as for the day time or when its hot! (when its SUPER HOT, I skip foundation and just do powder) but I'm really happy with this foundation, and especially for the price. I know its not more than $10 and its the: Rimmel Stay Matte. Again its also oil-free so it wont clog my pores. It also claims to leave your skin shine free for 12 hours but its not true, at least not in my case. I would say it stays shine free for about 3-4 hours. After that I do start to see some shine, but overall its a good foundation and I'm pretty sure I will repurchase it once I'm running low. The color I use is in 200 soft beige.
The last one I'm using alot is by Lancome and its the Teint idole ultra. This one is also medium to full coverage and I love love love the dewy finish it gives me! It looks very natural and I just feel like my face looks airbrushed. This one runs for about $40, but its definitely worth it in my opinion. I like to use this foundation at night or when I wont be able to retouch my makeup for a long time. This one also dries fast so I apply it little by little. My color is bisque 6. Its a little lighter than my usual color only because I bought this foundation before I got so tanned! But I find it still works for me. Remember the key is to blend, blend, blend!
